  • This cardigan is worked into 2 pieces, sideways in rows. Then you add sc, sl st, or sew up the 1 side to create the arm hole. Then sc, sl  st,  or sew the 2 panels together halfway up (the whole back section).
  • Beginning Ch 2 DOES NOT count as 1st  stitch.
  • Anything in between ( ) means that entire sequence is in 1 space.
  • Anything in between * * means you repeat that specific sequence until specified.
  • If the number is Before a stitch that means that is how many stitches you make in 1 space.
    • Example: 2sc – 2 sc in the same st
  • If you desire a longer length, you can use the 2nd count instead. If you want a shorter length. You can follow the 1stcount.

Attaching Panels Together:

Laying both panels down flat, with it WS out, line up both seams together (hdc row), counting from the bottom up, place a stitch marker 3” below the center of the panels. Now sc, sl st, or sew both sides together making sure the sts match up correctly.

*Note – I Suggest making your seem loose yo avoid bunching

With the RS facing out, attach your yarn at the bottom left corner, ch1, hdc in same st and in every st up and around the collar, along the entire bottom, sl st to 1st st.
